The Analytics Tab Overview

Use the Analytics tab to access company spending, review history and print reports. With appropriate permissions set up by the ExpenseWire System Administrator, you may choose from a wide variety of preset reports or create reports from scratch.

General Guidance

Only the ExpenseWire System Administrator can enable you to view and run analytical reports.

Follow the on-screen instructions to run a variety of pre-loaded reports. You may select unique criteria to include within your reports.   

Click Users help to learn how to gain access to user profiles. From there, the Administrator is able to enable the reporting class for you.

Classes include:

Users: Users can run reports on themselves only.

Managers: Managers can run reports on themselves and their reporting users.

Department Heads: Department Heads can run reports on all of their department.

Administrators: Admins can run reports on the entire organization.

Report listings include:

All Expenses: Enter the basic criteria and retrieve reports covering all expenses.

By Expense Type: This report runs based on Expense Type and shows only data based on this preset criteria.

By Payment Type: This report runs based on Payment Type and shows only data based on this preset criteria.

By User: This report runs based on User and shows only data based on this preset criteria.

By Department: This report runs based on Department and shows only data based on this preset criteria.

By Customer: This report runs based on Customer and shows only data based on this preset criteria.

By Status: This report runs based on Report Status and shows only data based on this preset criteria.

By GL Account: This report runs based on GL Account and shows only data based on this preset criteria.

Exception Reports: This report runs based on Exception Expenses and shows only data based on this preset criteria.

Custom Field Reports: This report runs based on Custom Field data and shows data based on this preset criteria.

By Project: This report runs based on Project and shows only data based on this preset criteria.

Attendee Reports: This report shows a summary of itemization amount and attendee data.

Travel Reports: This report shows a summary of travel itinerary  information if travel integration is turned on.

Budgeted Amount: This reports shows a summary of users budgeted allotted amount and plan dates when Budgeted Amount system setting is True.
